Software Engineer with 10+ years of experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems. I thrive on the challenge of creating systems that abstract complexity away from the end user, no matter the shape or form, and I particularly enjoy solving non-obvious problems that require deep thinking and creativity.
I've had a strong interest in data and AI since my college years, I've honed my skills across different layers of the stack — ranging from statistics and data modeling to efficient data processing pipelines, distributed systems, and reliable infrastructure at scale.
For the past 6+ years, I've worked fully remotely, including over 3 years at Shopify, where I was the only team member based outside North America.
